Niall Ogburn

Land Manager

Niall Ogburn began working with WHF in November 2019 as a part time technician before being brought on as a full-time employee in January 2020. Niall attended Sonoma State University and received a B.A. in 2017 in Environmental Science, with an emphasis in conservation and restoration. After graduation, Niall went on to work as an invasive plant technician for the Catalina Island Conservancy, where he worked to conserve the many rare, endemic plant species on the island. He eventually made his way to the greater Sacramento area in January of 2019 where he worked for the Solano RCD for nearly a year doing restoration work throughout Solano County. Niall has always had a passion for the outdoors and conserving the natural world. When he isn’t working, you can find him hiking, skiing in the winter, or attending a concert.
