
Loren E. Clark
President
Loren Clark is a dedicated conservationist. He grew up in Southern California where his family has been since the 1870s.
Loren’s expertise spans a wide range of planning activities, with a focus on long-range natural resource programs. After briefly working in environmental education and as a planner for Orange County, Loren and his wife Debbie moved to Placer County where he was employed with the County’s Planning Department and Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA) for over 30 years. Loren retired in 2016 as the Assistant Director of CDRA. In addition to his role with the Wildlife Heritage Foundation, Loren actively contributes to conservation efforts through the Placer Land Trust and the Placer County Conservation Program.
Loren holds a BS in Natural Resources Planning and Interpretation from California State University,
Humboldt.
