Group photo of everyone who participated in the great sierra river clean up

Please join WHF staff to help pick up trash along the banks of our beautiful Auburn Ravine on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 9am-11am. This year the creek clean-up is being held in conjunction with the Lincoln CreekFest.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, September 30, 2017

Time: 9am to 11am

Location: Picnic benches by skate park at McBean Park in Lincoln

What to bring: Please bring gloves (if you have them), a water bottle, and wear closed toed shoes. Dress accordingly for the weather, we typically recommend layers, as it may start off a little cool but then warm up.

We will be meeting at 9am as a group and then splitting into smaller groups to tackle the creek. We will be providing light refreshments and will have extra gloves, trash bags and trash pickers.

After the creek clean-up we hope you will join us at the annual Lincoln CreekFest at McBean Park as well starting at 11:00 am.  It is going to be a packed day full of fun activities, interactive learning and much more.  To learn more check out the website.

Thank you for volunteering to help make your community a better place!
