Habitat Management Program

The goals of our Habitat Management Program are to manage and enhance habitat lands by creating effective short- and long-range plans, serving as conservators, providing monitoring services, and expanding the capacity of communities and homeowners to manage lands. Achieving these goals is accomplished by focusing on the following program priorities:

• Creating land-management plans
• Developing and implementing restoration plans
• Assisting public agencies with managing lands, funds
• Restoring native vegetation
• Managing/eliminating invasive plants, animals
• Acting as conservator for open-space lands
• Helping homeowners and communities manage habitat land
