Community Land Stewardship Program

The goal of our Community Land Stewardship Program is to expand the number of citizens who are committed to protecting wildlife habitat lands, with an emphasis on properties that are part of mitigation of community open-space plans. Achieving this goal is accomplished by focusing on the following program priorities:

• Educating homeowners about values of protected lands in their communities
• Making appropriate lands available for school educational programs
• Developing and distributing information to educate homeowners about the value of wildlife habitat lands in their communities
